VDCCHEVYCORC714INS is a complete Chevrolet Corvette C7 Vertical Door Conversion Kit and eligible mobile-installation package for the listed 2014-2019 application. The system retains the original doors and creates the traditional VDI movement: outward first, then vertically upward.
This is a kit-and-installation package. The vehicle-specific kit, eligible mobile installation, installer travel within the approved service area, final adjustment, and operational testing are included. Service eligibility and scheduling must be confirmed before time-sensitive plans are made.

Service Area and Scheduling
Mobile installation is offered only for eligible locations in the contiguous United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are excluded. Availability depends on the vehicle, address, installer routing, scheduling, and a suitable work area.

Chevrolet Corvette C7 Fitment
This mobile-installation package is designed for 2014-2019 Chevrolet Corvette C7 models. Before scheduling, confirm the model year, trim, body configuration, and any previous modifications.
Pre-approval is important when the vehicle has aftermarket fenders, widebody components, prior collision repair, air suspension, large aftermarket wheels, a previous hinge conversion, or another modification that may affect installation.
Chassis / Platform and Trim Guide
- Chassis / Platform: Corvette C7 architecture (GM Y-body)
- Relevant trims, models, and packages: Stingray 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT; Grand Sport; Z06 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ; ZR1; Z51 and special-edition packages
Fitment note: Trim, performance package, coupe, and convertible designations do not independently prove hinge-kit fitment.
Chassis, trim, engine, drivetrain, cab, body style, and package terminology is provided to help identify the vehicle. It does not expand the confirmed VDI application or guarantee fitment. Contact Vertical Doors, Inc. with the model year, model or duty series, body style or cab configuration, trim or package, and clear photographs when uncertain.
What to Expect During Installation
The installer removes the required body panels, supports and documents the factory door position, replaces the original hinge assemblies with the VDI system, manages wiring clearance, performs required non-visible clearance work, installs and adjusts the gas shocks, aligns the doors and latches, and tests operation.
Vehicle-specific and bolt-on do not mean modification-free. Installation can require trimming, clearance work, wiring management, and careful final adjustment. Prior damage or modifications can change the labor scope and must be disclosed before scheduling.
Prepare the Installation Location
The vehicle and work area must be safely accessible and suitable for the installation. Disclose gated access, parking restrictions, limited workspace, steep surfaces, prior body repair, or aftermarket body components before the appointment.
If mobile service is not available, request installation at VDI in Lake Elsinore or locate a qualified local installer.
Kit-Only Alternative
