We are looking for select vehicles for prototype development and test fitting at our Lake Elsinore, California facility. Your vehicle could help us evaluate a future vehicle-specific Vertical Door Conversion Kit.

These vehicles are requested for evaluation and prototype development. A listing does not mean a kit is currently available or that a production kit is guaranteed.
STLA Large generation
We are interested in evaluating the new Charger generation, including the Charger Daytona and 2026 Charger SIXPACK. Two-door and four-door configurations may require separate evaluations.

FK8 generation
We are seeking an FK8-generation Civic Type R for prototype development. This request is for the 2017–2021 model years, rather than the newer FL5 generation.
Include your vehicle details, location, photos, and any modifications.

Before You Apply
If accepted, your vehicle must remain at our Lake Elsinore, California facility for the required development period. Timing and terms must be confirmed before your appointment.

No. The vehicle needs a suitable concealed factory hinge area inside the fender and door jamb. Our team must evaluate whether a vehicle-specific conversion hinge can be designed and mounted while retaining the original door.
Include your exact year, make, model, trim, body style, powertrain, and location. Provide clear photos of the vehicle, door jamb, factory hinges, and front fender area, plus details of any modifications or previous repairs.
Photos support preliminary screening. They do not replace a physical inspection.
Pricing, estimated completion time, delivery and pickup arrangements, and vehicle-specific prototype terms must be reviewed with the owner before work begins. An in-person inspection may be required before feasibility can be confirmed.
Development time and costs depend on the vehicle’s construction, hinge location, body style, trim, condition, modifications, and engineering requirements.
Any special offer or installation arrangement must be confirmed by Vertical Doors, Inc. before scheduling.
No. Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance. Evaluating or completing a prototype also does not guarantee a production kit or release date.
I understand that prototype development normally takes approximately three to four weeks. If my vehicle is accepted, it must be delivered to and remain at Vertical Doors, Inc. in Lake Elsinore, California, for the required development period. I understand that additional inspection may be required before Vertical Doors, Inc. can confirm feasibility, pricing, timing, or acceptance. Submitting this request does not guarantee that my vehicle will be accepted or that a production kit will be released.
