Rapid Blue Outside, Tan Throughout the Cabin
The close-up views show why the interior is such a noticeable part of this build. Tan upholstery carries from the dashboard into the seats and door panels, while black trim breaks up the color. Raising the doors brings those panels into view from outside the car.
How the Vertical Door Conversion Operates
The original Corvette door opens outward to the hinge system’s stopping point and then raises vertically. A gas shock assists the upward movement. The initial outward opening on a properly installed Stingray system provides room for entry and exit without raising the door every time.
The vehicle-specific kit mounts at the factory hinge locations. Installation also requires fender removal, non-visible clearance trimming, wiring checks and final door alignment. Follow the supplied instructions and verify the complete movement, latch engagement and surrounding panel clearances before returning the vehicle to service.
