Rapid Blue bodywork and black wheels give this Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray coupe from California a sharp color combination. Its Vertical Doors, Inc. Vertical Door Conversion Kit, part number VDCCHEVYCORC820, raises the original doors above the roofline.
The light-colored seat centers are visible through the door openings, adding contrast to the dark cabin trim. Four original photos show the coupe from the front, side and low three-quarter angles.

Door Operation and Installation
The conversion replaces the hinge system while retaining the original Corvette doors. Each door opens outward first, then raises vertically with gas-shock assistance. Allow clearance around and above the door throughout its movement.
C8 installation includes safe door support, fender removal, nonvisible clearance trimming, wiring checks and final alignment. Follow the vehicle-specific instructions supplied with the kit, and verify latch engagement, panel gaps and clearance before returning the car to service.
