VDCSUBBRZ22 is the listed Vertical Doors, Inc. application for the second-generation Subaru BRZ two-door coupe. This covers the 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 Subaru BRZ model years. Jeremy's featured vehicle is a 2024 tS.

Confirm your exact trim and configuration before ordering when fitment is uncertain. The earlier-generation BRZ uses a separate kit. Contact us before purchasing if your car has aftermarket fenders, widebody components, previous collision repairs, replacement hinges or other changes near the hinge and fender area.

The USA-made kit includes driver-side and passenger-side hinge assemblies, two gas shocks, mounting hardware and vehicle-specific instructions. It changes the movement of the original doors while retaining their shells, glass, latches and interior panels.

How the BRZ's Vertical Doors Work

Open the door outward to the hinge system's stopping point, then raise it vertically with assistance from the gas shock. To close it, lower the door completely before moving it inward.

Correct alignment, panel clearance and wiring clearance matter throughout that movement. The finished conversion should let the door return to its latch without forcing it. Follow the supplied instructions for operation and maintenance, and contact VDI if the door needs adjustment.

What to Know About Installation

A bolt-on mounting design still requires installation work. Plan for access to the factory hinge area, body-panel removal, any required hidden trimming, wiring management and final door adjustment. Use the instructions supplied with VDCSUBBRZ22 for the exact procedures.
