Door Movement and Installation
The traditional VDI hinge system opens the original door outward first, then allows it to raise vertically with gas-shock assistance. Proper adjustment, door support and clearance checks are part of making that movement work correctly.
C8 installation includes fender removal, nonvisible trimming, wiring clearance checks and final door alignment. Follow the instructions for the exact kit and check latch engagement, panel gaps and door travel before returning the vehicle to service.
