From Texas to Lake Elsinore
Phillip made the trip from Texas for installation by the BEST, Vertical Doors, Inc. Having the work completed at our facility put his Corvette directly in the hands of the team that manufactures the kit.
The photos show the finished conversion from the front and rear quarters. The dark exterior keeps the red wheel accents and brake calipers easy to spot, while the raised doors reveal more of the contrasting interior.

How the Vertical Doors Work
The original Corvette door opens outward to the hinge system’s designed stopping point and can then be raised vertically. The gas shock assists with the upward movement. On a correctly installed and adjusted system, the door does not need to be raised every time you enter or exit the car.
The conversion replaces the factory hinges rather than the door shells. Installation requires fender removal, non-visible trimming for hinge clearance, wiring checks and careful adjustment of the doors, stops and latches. Follow the vehicle-specific instructions supplied with the kit.
