Two C8 Builds at Image Auto Styling
The front views show both cars parked together with their doors raised. The difference in exterior colors and hood treatment gives each Corvette its own appearance while showing the same traditional outward-then-upward door movement.

How a Corvette C8 Vertical Door Kit Works
The traditional Vertical Doors, Inc. system replaces the factory hinges while retaining the original doors. Each door opens outward to the hinge system’s designed stopping point and can then be raised vertically. A gas shock assists with the upward movement.
These conversions are commonly called Vertical Door Kits, Lambo Door Kits or Scissor Door Kits. Correct installation includes hinge adjustment, door alignment, wiring clearance and latch checks. Fender removal and non-visible trimming are part of the installation process; follow the instructions supplied for the specific kit.
