The ZLR system replaces the factory hinge assemblies while retaining the original Corvette doors. Instead of opening outward and then lifting in two stages, the door travels diagonally outward in one motion. Correct hinge positioning, gas-shock adjustment, wiring clearance, latch alignment, and panel clearance are essential for smooth operation.

Installation Requirements
