Wrapped Corvette C8 from Las Vegas Visits Vertical Doors, Inc.

This wrapped Chevrolet Corvette C8 came from Las Vegas, Nevada, to visit Vertical Doors, Inc. in Lake Elsinore, California, in April 2026. Already equipped with our Vertical Door Kit, it gave us a chance to show the finished conversion in motion. Nick demonstrated the doors and stepped in and out so other C8 owners could see how the system works.

The iridescent wrap shifts between pink, purple, blue and green across the bodywork. Black wheels and red brake calipers give the colors some contrast, while the raised doors reveal blue door jambs. A silver Corvette C8 Z06 was at the shop that day, too.

A Las Vegas C8 with an Iridescent Wrap

From the side, you can see how the wrap follows the Corvette's sharp creases and deep side intake. The blue door jamb contrasts with the changing colors on the exterior, while the black wheels keep the focus on the bodywork.

The photos show the car from several angles, including the door opening and rear quarter. Together, they give you a closer look at how the conversion fits into the finished build.

Nick Demonstrates the Corvette C8 Doors

Photos show the raised-door position. The video shows the movement and the space Nick uses to get in and out, which is useful if you're considering Lambo doors for your own Corvette.

The Vertical Doors, Inc. system retains the original Corvette doors. Each door opens outward to the hinge's designed stopping point, then lifts vertically with assistance from a gas shock. You do not have to raise the doors for every entry or exit. Correct installation, alignment, adjustment and maintenance are important for everyday operation.

Two C8s, Two Different Looks

We also had a silver Corvette C8 Z06 at the shop that day. Parked behind the wrapped car with its doors raised, it made an interesting comparison: the silver finish emphasizes the body lines, while the iridescent wrap brings several colors into the same view.

Part number VDCCHEVYCORC820 is the vehicle-specific Vertical Door Kit for the standard 2020-2027 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray. You can also browse our Corvette C8 Stingray parts and accessories.

Modified Stingray fitment: Use VDCCHEVYCORC823Z06 if your Stingray has a widebody kit, air-bag suspension or wheels measuring 21 inches or larger. The Corvette C8 Z06 uses that separate application, too. Do not order the standard Stingray kit for a Z06.

Corvette C8 Installation Options

Vertical Doors, Inc. offers factory installation at our Lake Elsinore, California facility. Eligible mobile installation packages and independent installer options may also be available, depending on your vehicle, location, scheduling and coverage.

The bolt-on hinge conversion mounts at the factory hinge locations, but installation still requires fender removal, non-visible fender or inner-fender trimming, wiring-clearance checks and final alignment. Use an experienced installer if this work is outside your experience. Contact us with your vehicle details before ordering or scheduling installation.
