Our team installed the VDCCHEVYCORC820 Vertical Door Conversion Kit, retaining the original Chevrolet doors and giving them the traditional outward-then-upward movement.
The red exterior, silver five-spoke wheels, red brake calipers, black rear spoiler and tan interior make a great combination. With both doors raised, Tony's Corvette looks right at home outside our Lake Elsinore facility.

A Closer Look at Tony's Red Corvette C8
The Chevrolet Corvette C8 already has a low roofline, wide rear quarters and sculpted side intakes. Tony's red exterior makes those lines easy to appreciate, especially in the side-profile photos with the doors raised.
His silver five-spoke wheels contrast nicely with the bright paint, while the red brake calipers and black rear spoiler finish off the exterior. Open either door and the tan interior adds another color to the combination.
How the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Vertical Door Kit Works
Our Corvette C8 Vertical Door Conversion Kit replaces the factory door hinge system while retaining the original Chevrolet doors. This allows the vehicle to maintain its original exterior styling while changing the way the doors open.
Each converted door opens outward first, reaching the hinge system's designed stopping point. From there, the door can be raised vertically with assistance from a gas shock. The doors do not open automatically.
When properly installed and adjusted, the initial outward movement can also be used for normal entry and exit without raising the door every time. This is an important part of the system for Corvette owners who drive their cars regularly.
Our installation team checks door alignment, wiring clearance, hinge movement, door stops and latch engagement before the vehicle leaves our facility.
