The conversion retains the original Corvette doors and replaces the factory hinges with vehicle-specific assemblies. Each door opens outward first to provide clearance, then raises vertically with gas-shock assistance.
Installation requires properly supporting the doors, removing the fenders for access, completing the required non-visible trimming and checking wiring clearance. Hinge adjustment, latch engagement, panel gaps and full door travel must be checked before the vehicle is returned to use.
