Silver wheels and red brake calipers give this Rapid Blue Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray coupe a different look from the black-wheel builds in our archive. The California customer car features a Vertical Doors, Inc. Vertical Door Conversion Kit, part number VDCCHEVYCORC820.
The raised original doors frame a cabin with light-colored seats and dark trim. Three original photos show the car head-on and from both front corners, with the wheels and door openings clearly visible.

Door Operation and Installation
The VDI conversion keeps the original Corvette doors. Each door opens outward first, then raises vertically with gas-shock assistance. Leave room beside and above the vehicle for the complete door movement.
Installation requires safe door support, fender removal, nonvisible clearance trimming, wiring checks and final alignment. Follow the supplied instructions and verify latch engagement, panel gaps and clearance before returning the car to service.
