The original Corvette doors open outward first, then raise vertically with gas-shock assistance. The vehicle-specific hinges use the factory hinge bolt locations.
Installation requires properly supporting the doors, removing the fenders for access, completing required non-visible trimming and checking wiring clearance. Hinge adjustment, latch engagement, panel gaps and full door travel must be verified as part of the completed installation.
