A Camaro Built Around the Gotham SWAT Theme
This Camaro is more than a door conversion. Tom’s Gotham SWAT identity gives the car a distinct character built around a darker Batman-inspired concept. The Camaro features a large bat emblem on the raised door, tactical-themed exterior details and display props that reinforce the heavily armed Batmobile concept.
The vertical door movement adds another major visual element when the Camaro is parked at an event, show or photo session. With the doors raised, the graphics and themed details become part of the overall display instead of disappearing into the side profile of the car.

2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro Vertical Door Kit
VDCCHEVYCAM10 is the vehicle-specific Vertical Doors, Inc. conversion for the 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro. The conversion retains the Camaro’s original two front doors and replaces the factory hinge arrangement with application-specific VDI hinge assemblies and gas shocks.
The supported model years are 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Exact trim, body style, door configuration and any previous body or hinge-area modifications should still be confirmed before ordering.

How the Camaro Vertical Doors Operate
The VDCCHEVYCAM10 conversion keeps the original Camaro doors but changes their movement. Each converted front door first opens outward to the VDI hinge system’s designed stopping point. From there, the door can be raised vertically.
Correct alignment matters. Smooth everyday operation depends on hinge position, door gaps, striker alignment, wiring clearance, gas shock installation, fender clearance, final adjustment and continued maintenance of the system.
