Dave's red Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 received a Vertical Doors, Inc. Vertical Door Conversion Kit at our Lake Elsinore, California facility in June 2025. Our team installed part number VDCCHEVYCORC823Z06, retaining the original doors and changing their movement to open outward first, then raise vertically.
Black wheels, a rear wing and a tan-colored interior give this Chevy Corvette plenty to look at. With both doors raised, the cabin becomes visible from the front and sides, while the Z06's wide bodywork remains the focus down low.

Door Operation and Installation
Open the door outward to the hinge stopping point before lifting it. The gas shock assists the upward movement. You can use the initial outward opening for entry and exit without raising the door every time.
Installation requires safe door support, fender removal, non-visible clearance trimming, wiring clearance and final alignment. Follow the supplied instructions and check latch engagement, panel gaps and clearance through the full movement. Use an experienced installer if these tasks are outside your experience.
Corvette C8 Installation Options
Request installation at Vertical Doors, Inc. in Lake Elsinore, California, or ask about other available options. Scheduling and installer coverage depend on your vehicle and location. Independent shops set their own labor pricing and workmanship terms.
