This black Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray 3LT convertible received a Vertical Doors, Inc. Vertical Door Conversion Kit at our Lake Elsinore, California shop in May 2022. The installation uses part number VDCCHEVYCORC820, with club credit to @plasticcupboyzcarclub.
With the top down, the raised doors leave the cabin in full view. Black wheels, a rear spoiler and dark bodywork give this convertible a consistent look from the side profile to the close rear view.

Door Operation and Installation
The VDI conversion retains the original doors. Each door opens outward first, then raises vertically with gas-shock assistance. Allow clearance around and above the door throughout its movement.
C8 installation requires safe door support, fender removal, nonvisible clearance trimming, wiring clearance checks and final alignment. Follow the supplied vehicle-specific instructions and verify latch engagement, panel gaps and clearance before returning the car to service. Use an experienced installer if this work is beyond your tools or experience.
