This silver Chevrolet Corvette C8 received a Vertical Doors, Inc. Vertical Door Conversion Kit at our Lake Elsinore, California facility in March 2025. The conversion retains the original doors and uses the traditional outward-first, then upward movement.
Dark wheels, red brake calipers and a red-and-black interior bring contrast to the silver body. With the roof panel removed and both doors raised, this Chevy Corvette gives you a clear view into the cabin.

Silver Bodywork With the Red Cabin in View
The low front photos show the wheels and brake calipers beneath the raised doors. From the side, the red seat and door trim become more visible, while the open roof gives the cabin an uninterrupted profile.
This is a hinge conversion using the original Corvette doors. The doors keep their existing exterior finish while the vehicle-specific hinge system changes how they open.

Door Operation and Installation
Open the door outward to the hinge stopping point before lifting it. The gas shock assists the upward movement. The initial outward opening can be used for entry and exit without raising the door every time.
Installation requires safe door support, fender removal, non-visible clearance trimming, wiring clearance and final alignment. Follow the supplied instructions and check latch engagement, panel gaps and clearance through the full movement. Use an experienced installer if these tasks are outside your experience.
Corvette C8 Installation Options
