Danny B., @dannyb_2.3t from Team Hybrid SoCal (@teamhybrid_socal), brought his blue Ford Mustang S550 fastback by Vertical Doors HQ in Lake Elsinore, California. Gold wheels, a low stance and a red-and-black cabin give this Mustang its own personality. With both doors raised, you get a much better look at how those details work together.
His build features VDCFM15, our 2015-2023 Ford Mustang Vertical Door Kit. The Lambo door conversion brings another part of Danny's Mustang into the spotlight: an interior with just as much color as the exterior.

A Mustang Built to Turn Heads
Start with the wheels. Their gold finish pops against Danny's blue bodywork, with tight wheel-to-fender spacing completing the side profile. Up front, a vented hood, large black grille and front splitter give the car a sharp look. Side skirts and a large rear wing carry that style through the rest of the build.
Then there is the cabin. With the doors up, the red-and-black seats sit alongside the blue exterior, giving you another color combination to appreciate. From the front three-quarter view to the full side profile, Danny's Mustang gives fellow enthusiasts a reason to keep looking.
Why Go Vertical?
For a Mustang with this much visual character, the appeal is easy to see. Raised doors become part of the display, showing the bodywork, wheel fitment and cabin together. That is part of the fun of a custom build: choosing details that work together and make the car feel like your own.
Danny's blue exterior and red-and-black seats make that especially clear. The door conversion opens up the view of the interior, giving people at a meet or looking through the photos another part of the Mustang to check out.
The VDCFM15 system retains the Mustang's original front doors. Each converted door opens outward to the hinge system's stopping point, then raises vertically with gas-shock assistance.

Danny, thanks for bringing your Mustang by Vertical Doors HQ and being part of the Vertical Doors, Inc. Family. We love sharing the different ways owners put their own style into these cars, and your blue-and-gold Team Hybrid SoCal build gives Mustang fans plenty to appreciate.
Engineered for the Mustang, Made in the USA
Behind the doors-up appearance is a vehicle-specific hinge system. We manufacture the VDCFM15 kit in the USA for the listed S550 Mustang application, with driver-side and passenger-side hinge assemblies, two gas shocks, mounting hardware and installation instructions.
Vertical Doors, Inc. has more than two decades of experience manufacturing door conversion kits. Builds like Danny's show how owners bring those kits into their own projects, combining the conversion with their choice of wheels, bodywork and interior. That connection with the car community is something we are proud to share.
The Importance of a Trusted Manufacturer
When a door conversion becomes part of your build, you want to know who made it and where to turn with questions. Check the listed vehicle application, the installation instructions and the product support behind the kit as carefully as you consider the finished appearance.
With a genuine Vertical Doors, Inc. kit, you can contact the manufacturer directly for fitment, installation guidance, adjustments, operation and replacement-component questions. If you are planning a Mustang with custom fenders or other bodywork, start that conversation before ordering so those details can be reviewed.
Confirmed 2015-2023 Ford Mustang Application

Ford Mustang Installation Options
Planning your own Mustang build? Contact Vertical Doors, Inc. about factory installation in Lake Elsinore, California, or help finding a qualified independent installation shop. Confirm the application, shop services and scheduling before booking. Independent shops set their own labor pricing and workmanship terms.
The kit's bolt-on mounting design still calls for panel removal, non-visible trimming or clearance work, wiring management and careful final alignment. If you plan to install it yourself, review the supplied instructions and contact our team with product questions. Choose a qualified shop if that work exceeds your experience. Correct installation and adjustment are essential for latch operation, door alignment and panel clearance.
