Every Vertical Doors, Inc. Vertical Door Conversion Kit is made for a specific vehicle application. The correct kit is selected using the vehicle’s year, make, model, body style, and other fitment details.

Why we sell only vehicle-specific Lambo door kits
The hinge area, door weight, mounting points, wiring path, fender clearance, and opening geometry can be different for every vehicle. A kit advertised as universal may require the installer to fabricate mounting points and adapt the hinge movement to the vehicle.
A vehicle-specific VDI kit is designed for the supported application listed on its product page. This gives the installer the correct hinge system, gas shocks, mounting hardware, and installation instructions for that vehicle.
How a Vertical Doors, Inc. kit operates
A traditional VDI Vertical Door Kit keeps the vehicle’s original doors. After installation, the door opens outward first and then raises vertically. Proper installation and adjustment are required for alignment, wiring clearance, latch operation, and surrounding body-panel clearance.
