Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Order
All orders are subject to acceptance by an authorized officer of our company. Acceptance of an order does not mean we accept any printed terms or conditions on the buyer’s purchase order that are inconsistent with or in addition to our own terms and conditions, unless specifically agreed to in writing by an authorized officer of our company. No sales representative, agent, or employee is authorized to change, modify, or waive any of these terms and conditions. Any such changes require written approval from an authorized officer.

2. Price
All prices are subject to change without notice. Orders will be billed at the price in effect on the date the order is received. Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, orders with future payment dates will be billed at the price in effect on the date the payment is made.

3. Taxes
Our prices do not include any current or future sales, use, excise, or other municipal, state, or federal taxes. Therefore, in addition to the prices specified, the Buyer agrees to reimburse us for any taxes that may become payable in connection with this transaction.

4. Delivery
We will ship goods F.O.B. (Free On Board) from the point of shipment, which means that ownership and responsibility for the goods transfer to the Buyer as soon as the goods leave our facility. The Buyer is responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during shipping, even though we prepay the transportation charges. Unless the Buyer specifies a different shipping method, we will choose the lowest-cost option to the destination.

We will do our best to ship the goods as quickly as possible after receiving the order. However, delivery dates are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays or failure to deliver caused by factors outside our control. These may include strikes, labor shortages, natural disasters, accidents, wars, riots, supply issues, or actions by government agencies, whether or not legally binding.

If a delay lasts more than six months, we reserve the right to cancel the undelivered portion of the order.

The Buyer may not cancel the order due to delays or any other reason unless both parties agree in writing.

Please note that shipping charges and handling fees are non-refundable.

Installation Deposit and Appointment Policy

All installation deposits include a Non-refundable $200 deposit If you decide to cancel your appointment and not move forward with the installation, we will refund the full amount you paid except for $200. 

If you miss your appointment or need to reschedule, we can do that for you. Your deposit will still be valid. Please try to give us as much advance notice as possible. 

If you arrive after 7am you may be asked to re-schedule as we may not be able to complete your install in the given time frame. 

Warranty Details

5. All shocks come with a 6 month warranty from the date that you receive the shock. The warranty does not cover shipping. Shipping for shocks is $35 and you must cover the cost of returning the original shock(s) to us. All shocks must be returned first to be covered under warranty. You also have the option to have an advanced replacement sent out to you if you pay a holding fee of $125. The fee is refundable depending on the condition of the original shock and the return must be made within 30 days of the replacement being received.

Shock Maintenance:


Shock end fittings must be maintained to preserve warranty coverage.

You must install the grease (zerk) fitting into the shock end. The grease fitting allows you to lubricate the pivot point where the shock attaches to the hinge. This can also be lubricated with a spray lubricant for short term maintanence

Rod End bushing

We recommend using grease and applying it with a brush or your finger to both the rod end bushing and the spherical bearing you are installing the rod end into. This can then be maintained later with the use of a spray lubricant. This joint should be cleaned and lubricated frequently. It can be cleaned using a solvent spray, like brake clean, or WD-40 and also by mechanical means with a rag or paper towel.

Hinge Maintenance:

You must lubricate the grease (zerk) fittings regularly using a grease gun, at least every 6 months to 1 year. Be careful as not to break the grease fittings off. A quick release type of grease coupler like locknlube can be helpfull for this.

Rust on the hinges is not covered under warranty. The hinges are made of steel and therefore can develop rust over time especially if they are neglected and not properly maintained. Rust can especially be accelerated if you operate your car in the winter where it snows and they salt the roads, if you don't have your inner fender liners causing your hinges to constantly be exposed to road elements such as water and debris, or if you live by the ocean. If your hinges become rusty you should clean the rust off using scotch brite or sandpaper and then repaint them using a high quality black spray paint or other automotive grade paints. All bare metal portions of the hinges should be frequently lubricated using a spray lubricant. You can also spray the entire hinge with a spray lubricant or rust preventative spray like fluid film.

If we determine that a fault was caused due to lack of proper maintenance we reserve the right to deny warranty coverage.

6. Damage on Arrival (DOA) Return Policy Product that is Damaged "out of the box" is considered to be DOA, and is subject to the following procedure:

a. Buyer should check all product upon receipt. Any damaged product must be reported to our Customer Service Department within 5 working days of the receipt and a notation should be made on carrier delivery document and copy retained for further instruction.

b. DOA product covered by insurance will be replaced, but must be returned in original packing container, including original packing materials, manuals, etc., and must be accompanied by a copy of original invoice and an RMA number from our Customer Service Department or sales@verticaldoors.com. Buyer must pay for all Shipping / Handling fees on any and all returns to Vertical Doors Inc.

7. Order Cancelations: Any credit card or online order that is cancelled prior to shipment will be charge at least 5% transaction fee.

*All orders can take up to 14 working days from the day ordered, but normally it takes 3-4 business days to ship.
